Is lupe fiasco Nigerian

Lupe Fiasco is probably of Nigerian descent because he told NPR on October 16th 2012 that he learned from his father to listen to the music of King Sunny Ade. KSA music is rendered in Yoruba language, which is spoken in South Western part of Nigeria. Besides, KSA's genre of music is better appreciated by those who have some connection with Yoruba.
