What is the symbolism from Edward Scissorhand?

I believe it is not to judge people. Edward was judged by stuff that he couldn't help but do, and people thought he was crazy, but really he had a heart of gold and wanted to help people as much as he can.

Judging people is very easy for us to do, but maybe we should examine ourselves before judging others.
