Do flowers need people

flowers don't necessarily NEED humans...but some scientists believe that talking to plants makes them grow faster...because of the carbon dioxide you release when talking.... In a way, they do depend on us somewhat because some "house plants" or the more preferred term domestic, have grown to "need" a set schedule for watering and trimming...so its actually quite debatable.
