Where do cuterebra tenebrosa live?

Cuterebra tenebrosa, commonly known as the rabbit botfly, primarily inhabit regions where their primary hosts, such as rabbits and hares, are found. They are typically located in North America, particularly in the eastern United States and parts of Canada. The larvae develop inside the host's body, often in subcutaneous tissues, where they can cause various health issues for the animals. Adult botflies are usually found in grassy or brushy areas where they can easily access their hosts for laying eggs.
