No, they bite and inject saliva, which temporarily reduces your blood's ability to clot (this also causes the itching of a flea bite). Then their mouthparts are used to drink the blood. While the mouthparts may enter the wound slightly, the flea as a whole does not "enter" the host, nor does it leave any parts behind when it stops feeding.
