Should you squeeze spots

Well many docters and people say you shouldn't, but when i get really bad HUGE spots I find it easier to squeeze it and just use scar cream to get rid of the scar. Also apparrently if you put ice on it before ou squeeze or a hot towel , it makes it easier to squeeze and often leads with no scaring.
