My experience with it on a garden shed was not impressive. We had the house painted with Sherwin Williams which was recommended to us by our painter at the same time I painted the new shed in what should have been a contrasting color - a deep barn/brick red with white trim. Both the house and the shed were primed with the same primer. Both were painted on the exact same day - so drying conditions, etc. were identical.
The shed is clad in hardiboard which *should* hold paint longer than the wooden clapboard siding on the house. 2 years later, I had our painter back out to paint the shed. The red had gone chalky and would rub off on your clothes if you happen to brush up against the shed. The house still looked great..
