Why should an adolescent female not have sexual relationship with a female?

The age of consent (the age at which sex becomes legal) varies a lot between different countries, but the general idea of it is to protect young people from sexual exploitation. If the adolescent is old enough to understand what she is doing and consents to having sex with a female (or male) who is also of age and consents, then there should be no problem. ^^
