How do you tell if a cygnet is male or female?

Determining the sex of a cygnet (young swan) can be challenging, as they do not develop distinct sexual characteristics until they mature. However, male cygnets, or cobs, often grow larger and have thicker necks compared to female cygnets, or pens, as they mature.
