Where can you find ore?

First you need a pickaxe,which you can get at the forge guy in Riverwood or find one in a mine.Then you can sometimes find ore (usually iron) in the world.But you can more commonly find ores in mines.The first mine is very close to Riverwood.It should be on your compass with a symbol of a pickaxe and a hammer I think it is.Hope I helped!
