The white smoke came off under the hood when I cold started the engine after a week of not being driven but right after a second start seems fine why?

Check all of the fluid levels but if the smoke has stopped you are probably ok. Moisture could have burned off of the exhaust or something similar. Keep a watch to see if it happens again.
