Why do guys think it's cute when girls get mad at them?

Often because they know the girl isn't really mad. Obviously a blind rage is scary no matter who it is. Since girls can't really physically hurt guys when they're angry, they pose no threat to them. Furthermore when angry people make mistakes, and often look foolish. When a person you care does mildly foolish things, it can be endearing or "cute".
