How do you change a starter in a 01 Acura CL?

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Disconnect the starter electrical connectors.

3. Remove the 2 starter mounting bolts.

4. Remove the starter motor.

5. Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure. Tighten the starter motor bolts to 33 ft. lbs. (44 Nm).
