A friend of mine is pregnant when she had a dating scan she was told she had two babies in her womb one been six weeks old and the other seven weeks old is this possible?

I'm no doctor but I think its possible , the egg could start to split and grow but just like the way you can be pregnant with 2 babies without knowing but one disappears I think it could be that the egg started out as one and it gradually kept spliting if you get what I'm saying after all only one is a week older than the other and that's good now if it was a month that would be weird , anyways I've never been pregnant or anything like that but from where I stand I hope this helps you in understanding .
