What are pretty purple flowers that look like snapdragons with strong stems and smelling like cloves?

You might be thinking of "stock". They're not always purple - just bought some pink ones today. They look similar to snapdragons, although more delicate. They grow on a strong stem and they smell like cloves (to me, anyway).
