How do palm trees grows?

I don't exactly know but i think it starts off by planting a coconut??? =[

I can only answer on the Windmill species, after flowering they produce hundreds

of "pea" size seeds. Once the seeds are planted they grow come up looking like a blade of grass. And continue to grow rather fast.
