Why isn't Nausicaa scared of Odysseus?

The night before Nausicaa meets Odysseus, Athena comes to her in a dream and encourages her to go to the river. Nausicaa believes that if she washes her clothes the next day, more men will court her. Odysseus comes across Nausicaa and her handmaidens and humbly pleas for their assistance. The princess tells him to wash himself in the river. When she comes back she finds him so handsome that she begins to fall in love.
