Do the colors red and yellow make Pink?

In the electromagnetic spectrum, in the visible light area, "pink" is the name given to a particular area of that visible light spectrum that appears between the orange and red spectrum. Pink is what the human eyes sees after an object absorbs all the other colors of the rainbow: orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet. The pink is basically red but not as much of it is reflected and it is also mixed with white light.
