Baby brown bears, also known as cubs, primarily consume their mother's milk during the first few months of life for optimal nutrition. As they grow, they start to explore solid foods and shift to a diet that includes berries, nuts, insects, and small mammals. By the time they are a year old, they begin to eat a more varied diet, including fish and vegetation, as they learn to forage and hunt alongside their mother.
