How much oil do you need to do an oil change on a 4.3 v 6 Chevy gm?

the 4.3 L vortec takes 5 quarts of 5W-30 oil also the filter is an acdelco PF61 but just to make sure start the car after putting the oil in run it for a minute then check the dipstick, i always put in 5 quarts
