Jaguar x type How do you program the key fob?

Open the driver side door.

Turn the ignition switch to the 'auxiliary' position, then turn the ignition switch to the

'ON' position and back to the 'auxiliary' position four times. *This must be done fairly quickly. If you have done it correctly, you will hear a chime.

Turn the ignition switch to 'OFF' position.

Remove the key from the ignition.

To program the transmitter, press any key within ten seconds. **If it worked, you should hear another chime.

Close the door.
