Are there any known problems with a 1998 Yamaha 600 Grizzly ATV?

Not really. The engine is large for an air cooled ATV but it has an oil cooler and a fan. However, if the engine is not kept clean and or the fan and oil cooler don't work properly it will overheat quite soon. So that's the only problem to be aware of.
