Can a test be negative at the time of implantion bleeding?

Yes. The reason you have to wait however long to take a test is because your body's HCG(pregnancy hormone that the test detects) level slowly rises, it dorsnt shoot up overnight. If you are experiencing implantation bleeding, you have gotten pregnant in the past few days so your HCG will not be high enough for a test to detect.
