Is it safe to get a tattoo after giving birth?

Of course check with your doctor and tattoo artist but the general rules for not getting one whilst pregnant is:

The unborn child feels stress the same as you do so getting one whilst pregnant is likely to upset the baby because you are in pain. Remember babies in the womb go through the same things you do, like food, alcohol, stress and some say pain.

Can't think of a reason why it should not be okay to get a tattoo at a reputable studio shortly after you feel okay but like I said check with the pros.
