What is wrong with Connie Smith's nose?

I've also noticed Connie Smith's nose looking blue or black at the tip. The only thing I can figure, is that it's the makeup artist trying to get the shine off of her nose with some kind of powder, thus eliminating the reflection, making her nose look blue, and even making it look bigger. It's also possible that it has something to do with some cosmetic surgery she's had in the last year or so.
