Waxworms are not the best food item for dragons. Occasional treats yes, but definitely not a staple. Imagine waxworms as french fries or some other favourite high fat treat that is not very good for you at all, but you LOVE them. Your dragons probally loves the waxworms and is holding out for some more.

A healthy dragon should be able to go without food for as much as a week, so don't worry. He will eat again when he gets hungry enough.
