Who sold more albums soundgarden or Alice in chains?

As of my last knowledge update in October 2023, Soundgarden has sold more albums than Alice in Chains. Soundgarden's total album sales are estimated to exceed 10 million in the U.S. alone, while Alice in Chains has sold around 8 million albums in the same market.
