Rear motor mount removal is part of procedure for removing steering rack. Refer to repair manual. It requires dropping the engine crossmember. The front pipe support also needs to come off. See the image below.

# Place the front wheels in the straight ahead position. #

# Disconnect the negative battery cable. # Raise and safely support the vehicle. If necessary, remove both front wheels. # Remove the 2 engine under covers.

# Tie rod end removal - not necessary. # Column hole cover - not necessary # On some models it may be necessary to remove the left and right lower control arms. # Universal joint disconnect - not neccessary. # Power Steering rack drain - not necessary. # Support the transaxle with a jack. # Remove the engine crossmember.
