What does the term and impaired driving and mean?

Impaired driving - simply means driving while under the influence of drink or drugs (legal or otherwise). Consuming anything that alters your awareness or judgement, before driving on public roads - is a dangerous, ridiculous, selfish act. The consequences of which will either result in the driver losing his licence - or ultimately killing an innocent person !
