Where is the speed sensor on a 1989 Honda accord lxi located is this changing of this sensor a good diy project?

The speed sensor is located on the rear top side of the transmission.Open your car's hood. Stand in front of the engine facing it.It is almost below the left side of the air cleaner housing. The sppedometer cable and two hoses are attached to it. I hope this information will be of some help to you.
