What is lipstick made of?

Lip balm can be made from a variety of ingredients. Generally there are several different ingredients you can use to make lip balm. Some popular ingredients are olive oil, candelilla wax, which is a plant based wax, beeswax, vitamin E, and many different oils such as coconut, sunflower, palm oil, sweet almond oil just to name a few. You can also use butters such as mango butter, shea butter and cocoa butter.

All items are mixed by weight and flavors and colors may also be added to the final mixture before pouring.
