What is the instrument Mr Tumnus plays in The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe?

The instrument used by Tumnus in the movie is imaginary, and not any instrument in existence, but in the book he is described as playing a "Pan's Flute", a fairly high-pitched wooden instrument.
