Does the ipod nano 5th gen have a camera?

Make sure the switch in the bottom right corner is set on camera. Then use two fingers, put them together on the screen and move them apart. Then there will be a little bar at the bottom of the screen. If you want to zoom in, simply drag the small dot on the bar towards the plus sign. Unfortunately, you can't zoom in on video...
