Yes, however, the standard YouTube setting is set to "worldwide" so that you can see content from all over the world. If you do want to change your "country" when you use YouTube, you can scroll all the way down to the bottom of the YouTube page and where you see the "country" dropdown, you can click on it and change it to "United Kingdom".
