Are shiba inus good with small children and babies?

I can't speak for anyone elses dog, but my shiba Adores babies. He is the most aloof dog with adults and adult dogs, but with babies and puppies he is such a lover.

It amazed me one day when a man was carrying a baby and my Shiba jumped up on him. He would never jump up on anyone. I havent seen him jump before or since. He was curious about the baby.

Little kids come and pet him and smack his eyesballs and put their hands in his mouth and he just sits there patiently. It's actually really amazing. I think he might have been born in a house with a baby.
