Yes but it's not a good idea. stability of a boat is dependent on two things, it's center of buoyancy, CB, (the center of the upward forces on the boat) and its center of gravity, CG, (the center of the downward forces on the boat). On a small boat the closer the CB and the CG the more stable the boat is. In other Words the lower the CG is, the better, because on a little boat like that the CB is very low in the boat. When you stand up you suddenly move the CG up about 3 feet. So you have just dramatically decreased the stability of the boat.

So if you do this, be very careful, do not move suddenly and don't move to one side of the boat or the other. And wear your life jacket.
