Who wrote some birds can't fly?

i dont know who wrote that but not all birds can fly, for example the ostrich. Some non-birds can fly, like bats and other rodents (flying squirrel, which glides more than anything really). The main answer is, creatures who can fly must have the capacity in their wing span...HOPE THAT HEPLED ;)
