How do you remove the neck covers on a Yamaha Vstar 1100 motorcycle?

There are two 10mm bolts- one for each haft just above the horn.

The two hafts have a snap on top that holds them to-gather.

take out the two bolts holding them on in the front. Pull them off slow then they come apart on the top.

It will be easier if you slide the tank back (or remove it completely)
