How do you use an English wheel?

An English wheel is used primarily for shaping sheet metal into smooth, contoured forms. To use it, you place a piece of metal between two wheels: a large, stationary wheel on the bottom and a smaller, adjustable wheel on top. By turning the top wheel and applying pressure, you can create curves and shapes in the metal. Adjusting the top wheel's position allows you to control the curvature and depth of the formed metal.
