How come some people are sad and some are happy?

A person may be un happy because something upset them (made them unhappy) like a miss pass of a friend or family member... or just a bad school mark or someone made them mad... bullied them...

A person could be happy because they got aomething say for instance Christmas... or Easter could make someone very happy or they just got a new friend or someone helped them that day or someone did a thaks for them
