What year did the UFC start?

1993 can be considered the year when UFC was found because the first ever UFC event - UFC 1 was held on November 12th 1993 at McNicholas Sports Arena in Denver, Colorado, USA. After this UFC has been hosting regular events which are conducted every few months. Currently UFC has a monthly pay per view kind of schedule plus a host of other TV fight schedules like UFC on Fox, UFC on Fuel TV etc.
