In Monopoly, the cost of utilities varies based on which one is owned. There are two utility properties: Electric Company and Water Works. If a player owns one utility, they can charge rent of 4 times the amount shown on the dice when a player lands on it. If they own both utilities, the rent increases to 10 times the rolled amount.
