Who would win in a fight. Jacob Black or Edward Cullens?

Edward. I'm not only saying this because I am a part of team Edward, I am saying this because of evidence in the books.

In the third book, Eclipse, they tell the old legends of the wolves. In the legends they say that one wolf is not match against one vampire. They needed at least two wolves to take down a vampire. So Jacob, by himself, would not be able to beat Edward in a fight.

Other opinions from contributors:

• Edward is strong enough to overtake Jacob and win the fight.

• Jacob because he's stronger in werewolf form than Edward is usually. But if he wasn't in werewolf form, Edward would totally POWN him!

• Jacob couldn't win because Edward would know what Jacob's move is before he actually did it, he's a telepath, remember? Besides, Edward is over 100 years old, super strong, and uber smart.
