What is the baby called once it can be recognize as being a human?

Once a developing human reaches a stage where it can be recognized as a human, typically around the end of the eighth week of gestation, it is referred to as a fetus. Prior to this stage, it is known as an embryo. The terminology reflects the different developmental phases of human growth in the womb.
