Can you melt glass on a gas grill?

Melting glass on a gas grill is generally not feasible, as gas grills typically do not reach the high temperatures (around 1,400°F or 760°C) required to melt glass. Additionally, the uneven heating and open flame of a grill may not provide the controlled environment needed for glassworking. If you're interested in melting glass, it's better to use a dedicated glass kiln or a torch designed for that purpose.
