What does cannabis cure?

In 1996, California passed proposition 215. Which approved medical use of Cannabis for Cancer, HIV/AIDS, and any other ailment for which it provides relief

It does not 'cure' anything except your ability to perceive the world as it is. It does, in some cases, alleviate certain symptoms of some illnesses.
