Did Fred Weasley become a ghost?

Nearly Headless Nick explained to Harry that only those who were afraid to move on stayed behind as ghosts. Fred was very brave and knew he could be killed when he battled the Death Eaters at Hogwarts. He died a brave death standing up for what he believed in. I don't see any reason he would be afraid to move on.
