Can you take flagyl and Tylenol pm together?

Most Nyquil contains alcohol as a solution (unless you buy the alchol-free type), and metronidazole cannot be taken with alcohol. When taken together, nausea and increased heartbeats are potential side effects. The recommendation is that alcohol should not be taken until 3 days after you have finished your last dose of metronidazole, so a similar recommendation would be given for any Nyquil with alcohol content.
