Is pregnancy normal if you've had an ultrasound at 3 wks and see no gestational sac?

That sounds perfectly normal. The gestational sac is all that is able to be picked up at this stage. The baby grows within it. By the fifth week, the location of the baby becomes obvious as does the fetal heart.
