Where is the crankshaft position sinsor 1999 xk8?

The position sensor is at the bottom/back of the engine, where it joins the gearbox. It is held in place by one bolt and connects via a multi plug. It gets its information from markings on the flywheel and this is sent to the ECU to monitor engine timing.
